Privacy, terms and refunds
Learn English with Emma runs small live English classes online. This page explains how we use your details, the rules for booking, and how refunds work. Questions: XXXX@XXXX.com.
Privacy
When you sign up for the free class or book a paid class, we collect your name, email, English level and, if you add it, your WhatsApp number and country.
- We use your details to send your Zoom link, reminders, class notes and receipts.
- After the free class we send a few emails about the paid classes. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- Payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
- Classes may be recorded for students in that class. Your camera is always optional.
- We don't sell your details. To see or delete what we hold about you, email us.
Terms
- Prices are in US dollars and include any fees we charge. Your bank may add a conversion fee.
- A single class is for one person and one class. A 4-class pack must be used within 8 weeks of purchase.
- The 8-week course runs with a fixed group. Recordings stay available until the course ends.
- Please be kind in class. We may remove anyone who is abusive to other students.
- Class materials, including the Speaking Guide, are for your own use only.
Refunds
- Cancel a single class at least 24 hours before it starts for a full refund.
- Unused classes in a 4-class pack can be refunded within 14 days of purchase.
- First-class guarantee for the course: if your first class isn't right for you, tell Emma that day for a full refund.
- Refunds go back to the payment method you used, usually within 5 to 10 working days.
